Return
To Eden Reviewed : I could gush about this disc for hours,
it is just so splendid and perfect in every way. While not my
usual blend of oppressive Death Rock or Doom, this is one of the
most fantastic collections of vintage Goth Rock material available
today - Starvox |

Sheffield
Gig Reviewed : On a first hearing, the new material is surprisingly
immediate, its qualities apparent from the very outset. Subsequent
hearings may reveal more, particular when we hear the planned
studio album. Considering this was the first time these tracks
have been performed live, this can only bode well for not only
the rest of the tour, but also for the future of the band.- Chris

Chapel Review: Saucer-eyed and stoned right out of the blue
her fragile ethereal look from last year has been well and
truly in binned in favour of a sequinned basque, luscious long hair

Pyjamadrama
Video : This tongue in cheek Mice track was recorded at a live
performance in August 2001 by Anna Ryder and Julianne. Supported
on wind instuments by Kate Loxmoore and
Chris Knibbs this track was a great surprise on the night and is
a real treat for Mice fans. The clip lasts almost 4 minutes.

On Union Chapel

I was stood in the vortex of a twinkly, sparkly spangled spiraling
sonic smoky delicately thrashy twilight midnight dreamworld ...

Morecambe
Review
: Was last night perfect or what? I don't know if it was the venue
or the fact that the band seemed to be enjoying playing so much.
Either way, it all added to to a hugely entertaining evening that
was more than worth the 150-mile round trip ...

Collector Reviews FLN
As
hinted at in the self-deprecatory sleevenotes, straight out of
the ` where are they now?' file comes this charming live
souvenir of All About Eve's recent winter acoustic tour. And a
suitably wintry, acoustic affair it is, all muted melodies, minor
key guitars and understated basslines |

The
Cornishman - Penzance Review
: So how does a band sound after an absence longer than it took
some musical genres to form, explode and implode. Pretty good
actually. Then, as now, All About Eve prove themselves capable
of the same feat. |

review
:
This is not the All About Eve we all knew and love - with inter-song
references to football, penises, and bestiality. This is All About
Eve Mark III, a maturer, wittier, ruder version - and three encores
is simply not enough. |

- A chance to evesdrop
