As
far as turning points in All About Eve's history
go, this opening night on a fourteen-date UK
tour proved one of undeniable significance.
Consider these circumstances: the first date
of their first full tour as an electric band
in almost 10 years; a new lead guitarist, Toni
Haimi, in to replace the recently-departed Marty
Willson-Piper; not to mention a selection of
new material to be performed here for the very
first time, their first since 1992's Ultraviolet.
As crossroads go in a band's career, it's a
major motorway junction. [Full

Julianne "Maybe I'm talking from
an angle of relief because up until the morning of the show, I was praying
to every deity I may have ever had a sliver of belief in, that my larynx

Julianne Regan would be annoyed at Curve references but her new image
is, if not Johnny Halliday, at least the front person of Texas was less
karaoke, more wasted-cool. She knows how to sling a guitar. At times
the Eves rock like a bitch!

About Eve - On Tour
About 95% of the time, I really enjoyed touring. No offense to the Brits,
but I'd have loved the opportunity to have done more in Europe. I liked
the taste I had of it. I particularly liked Germany as we did a fair
bit there. I love France though, but I don't think they liked us as
we did an awful gig there supporting The Mission and our fate was sealed.
