 Julianne
has had a close relationship with Fairport Convention, particularly in
the early nineties, when she sang live with the group at the Cropredy
Festival twice. Julianne has also appeared on two CDs, a 25th Anniversary
CD and Circle Dance a charity compilation.
25th Anniversary Concert CD
"There is a version of All About Eve's 'More
Than The Blues' on Fairport's 25th Anniversary Concert CD, which I love
because it's the only time I've ever sung an All About Eve song with
people other than the band! There are some great backing vocals from
Peggy and Simon Nicol."

Julianne on the Circle Dance compilation
To
my knowledge the only Sandy Denny song that may exist in recorded form
with me singing on it would be a charity album called circle dance.
I don't actually have a copy of this, so I can't tell you which record
label it's on. I think it was a version of 'Who Knows Where The Time
Goes'
There is a version of All About
Eve's 'More Than The Blues' on Fairport's 25th Anniversary Concert CD,
which I love because it's the only time I've ever sung an AAE song with
people other than the band! There are some great backing vocals from
Peggy and Simon Nicol.
I really do love Sandy Denny's
songs too. My favourites are possibly 'Who Knows....' 'The Lady'......
'Northstar..' and her 'demo' version of 'Red and Gold' that's in the
boxed set.
I'd like to cover some of her songs one day,
but, perhaps they are too precious and they should be left alone. Do
you know what I mean ?"
